Secure Reactive Web3 for Everyone
Can we build truly reactive Web3 applications without giving up on security and decentralization? In this talk, we explore a solution where user wallets track the on-chain data of their owners using Wasm and the concept of microchains developed by Linera.
Building Web3 applications that require fast and secure on-chain interactions between users is notoriously hard due to the data latency of a blockchain infrastructure and the difficulty of securely accessing on-chain data from a Web UI in general. In this presentation, we discuss how to make secure reactive Web3 a reality using the concept of microchains developed by the Linera protocol.
In Linera, wallets—mobile or in the browser—track the full application state of their users and execute data queries locally. The protocol is designed to optimize latency from transaction creation to on-chain finalization, all the way to the notification of connected user wallets. Linera uses Wasm and Web2 standards such as GraphQL to offer developers a familiar environment and greater compatibility with traditional platforms. — Linera @ ETH Prague 2024
